Catch Up part 2

 Don, with a considerably amount of bribing, was able to get Macie to agree to go to her swimming lessons and actually get in the pool with her clothes on.  This was the next step in her swimming lessons that she had refused to take .  She did not like the idea of getting in the pool with her clothes on.  Probably because she is smart and knows that getting out of the pool with clothes on, is the pits.  we were so proud (and relieved) that she finally agreed to do it, and she ended up enjoying herself, as we knew she would.

 And we finally got her picture from a month ago of her passing her last level.  For some reason she likes to smile like a mouse in pictures.

 A couple days after Christmas we went for a hike. We talked about how we should become the family that does things together.  Outside.  It is a very original idea.  Of course we have these conversations five minutes into our adventure while the adventure is still exciting, and Oscar isn't crying yet to get out of his baby carrier.  We actually did have a lot of fun.  Not sure Oscar did.  But I will give him a pass. He had a cold.  And having the same cold now that he did then, I really feel sorry for him in hindsight.  And afterwards we went to McDonalds to treat ourselves for all the healthy things we did that morning. : )
