I've Been Tagged!

My dear friend Leisa "tagged" me, I've never heard of it before, but it is a pretty cool idea, so thanks Leisa! So here is the deal:

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player answers the question about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 3 other people and posts there names. And then leaves a message on their blog letting them know they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog to get the directions.

This could start a blogging revolution!!!

What I was doing 10 years ago?

I would have been 16 and a junior in high school. I would have been spending my time doing homework, singing in choir and playing in orchestra. I was thinking how smart I was and how my parents didn't know anything, wishing that the cute boys liked me, looking forward to watching the show "Felicity", and being mad that I didn't get to drive because my brother had the car.

Things on my "To-Do" List for Today:
1. Take a shower.
2. Give Chloe a bath.
3. Get dressed.
4. Get Chloe dressed.
5. Do laundry
6. Clean the house. Again. How does it get messy every single day!!!!
7. Take a friend out to lunch that just had a baby.
8. Take a nap.
9. Get Chloe to take a nap so I can take a nap.
10. Do something fun with Don.

Places I have Lived:
1. Chandler, AZ
2. Rexburg, ID (The coldest, windiest place on the planet, second to Antarctica)
3. Provo, UT
4. Mesa, AZ
5. My car. Just kidding.

Things most people don't know about me:
1. I hate being tired, therefor I am really grumpy in the morning and late at night.
2. I used to put lemon juice on my face to try and fade my freckles. Then after I realized that it stung too bad, I got this "fade cream", for people with age spots, and that did the trick! But then...one day my older sister laughed at me and said I looked like a ghost. So then I thought...hmmm. Maybe I should stop using the fade cream. And now I have emraced my freckles, and don't even notice them anymore! Wow I am so glad not to be a teenager anymore.
3. Yes, it is true, I like watching American Idol. And sometimes, E! The True Hollywood Story.
4. I am prone to hurt myself easily with knives, sharp corners, steps...basically everything, and I bruise really easily.
5. I apparantly have an animal fetish when it comes to buying clothes for Chloe. My friend pointed out that her clothes are all animal themed...lambs, squirls, birds, kitties....

I tag Melanie, Jourdan, and Maggie.

The Boring Blog...don't look, you might fall asleep.

Well...nothing really new to report. But no news is good news. I have been trying to get some pictures of Chloe to fill in some empty picture frames in her room, but she is a hard subject. Anyway, I tried. The above picture is of her in her Christmas dress..that I bought for pictures...but ya, that never happened.
This is us on Valentines Day. We got Italian food and I was sufficiently stuffed. I told Don that I knew the way to the restaurant and that I could find it...we drove around for an hour (okay more like a half hour). But at least there was no wait when we got there.
Dolly, these pictures are for you...thanks for the dress!!!

Super Tuesday

Hello!! Today is "Super Tuesday!!!" So go out there and vote! I went and voted this morning. I love the spirit of elections! Every time I get to vote for anything I feel so happy inside that I belong to a country where I GET to vote. It is one of the times where I want to start singing "And I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free!!" But of course I don't really do that, I would look like a psycho. But anyway, no matter if the person you want gets elected or not, it is still a wonderful opportunity to get to vote. And that is my patriotic shpeel for the day.

Now onto other less weighty matters. The above picture is of Chloe showcasing her new trick. One day I found her sitting up in her crib clasping onto the bars like a convict and screaming. I thought it was funny. And then seriously the next day, she figured out how to pull herself up. And now within moments of being put in her crib, she has herself standing and screaming for help. She looks really patheitc, doesn't she?!
This past weekend Phoenix, AZ hosted a little thing called the Super Bowl. And also a famous Golf tournament. Sadly I cannot think of the name for the golf tournament. Anyway, Don and I got free tickets to go to the golf thing. I have never attended a golf event, but in my mind I pictured a somewhat modest size crowd full of wealthy retirees drinking champagne. Well was I ever wrong! This event is like hook up city! I felt like I was in Hollywood. So no, Don, Me and baby Chloe did not really fit in this "scene." The picture above is of us in a bus travelling to the event.
These are just some guys we thought were funny. As you can see, I don't think this event is really for serious golf fans.
We didn't make it out to the actual place of the Super Bowl. We instead spent the afternoon relaxing on the couch.
Have a great day!
