From my Dispoasable Camera

I got my pictures developed from my disposable camera...yes they actually still do develop those. And I had them put on a handy dandy c.d..hence the ease to which I was able to upload them. I love technology. (Sing the Napoleon Dynamite song right here if you would like) And I love my digital camera even more, oh please come back soon, oh please come back soon!
Chloe and her cousin (once removed I think is the technical label). Notice how much more advanced Chloe is than her cousin. Homosapien A walking upright, Homosapien B, not so much.
...And Goldilocks said, "This one is just my size!"

Chloe enjoys walking UP slides, much to the dismay of other patiently waiting children at the top.
Leisa...sideways. She is still very cute, isn't she??
Strategically placed necklace??? What??!!

Will...also sideways.
Family...

Cousin's Abby little girl, she is very cute!
3 kids, barely fitting in the back. Glad I don't have to worry about that problem for a LONG TIME!!

Found Some!

Well I found some pictures to add to my trip to Utah. I stole these from my cousin. Hope he doesn't mind. This is my little sister. Once again, her sports bra is a nice touch. Funny story about Chelsey...We were going through all my Grandma's stuff and she was asked if she would like to take anything home. She said, "If anyone doesn't mind, I was wondering um, if I could have the anti-bacterial soap." So that is what she wanted. We had a pretty good laugh about that. She also took home a weird fake rooster and a doll with only one working eye.
Chloe and me at the luncheon after the funeral.

My cousin Erin and son Will.
My Grandma's house. I love it just the way it is, even though I know it is way out of style.

I'm Baaaaaaaaack!!!

Blogging is really frustrating when you don't have a camera. I stole these pictures from my friends, and since I am not all that computer savy, I don't know how to make them larger. Oh Well! I think pictures are more interesting than my writing, but since I have no pictures but lots of words in my head, you get words this time.
So I am back from my trip to Utah. As previously mentioned, I had originally gone for "fun" but ended up going for my Grandma's funeral. I will save the details of that for my journal, but suffice it to say that it was a really wonderful experience to celebrate her life and to pay tribute to her. I will really miss her. She was an outstanding Grandma.
My trip to Utah also included some pretty cool stuff like:

Seeing my friend and old roomate Leisa (not "old" as in age : ) But while we are on the topic of looking old...what the heck is with my Grandma pants! I am seriously reconsidering that outfit! My friend Leisa is so talented! She paints and makes jewelry. Check out her stuff-http://www.laneyfineart.blogspot.com/
http://www.thesilverloft.com/page/page/4511525.htm
And she is super, super fun! I really miss you Leisa, I wish we lived closer! I would have abs of steel from laughing if we saw each other every day. Oh and Rachelle, if you are reading this, I love you too! And my other old roommates too-I love you all! Seriously, such good memories!
I also met up with my childhood friend Jourdan. She rocks too! I had such a great time catching up with her. We just drove around while the kids slept in the back. An interrupted conversation...so nice. That was also really fun.

My fabulous cousin Erin let me hang around her house for a week, which I really appreciated. I had a lot of fun with her too. Too bad there are no pictures to share. We had some funny and not so funny moments. Like Chloe falling down her stairs (my fault) and me slicing my finger open chopping an onion. Which pretty much happens to me every time I use a knife.

Anyway, I am back now in AZ and wondering why in the world we live somewhere SO HOT!!! But it is good to be back home, travelling is sure tiring with a baby!
P.S. My camera got fixed, no more pictureless blogs.

Utah

Well I am in Utah for a week. I just got here yesterday. I was planning on coming for a trip anyway, but then my Grandma died, so it turns out I came out here for a funeral. We had the funeral today and it was very, very nice. It was really hard going to her house last night and her not being there, but I felt a lot of comfort and peace at her funeral. Ironically, today is also the 8 year anniversary of my mom's death. So I of course thought a lot about her today as well. It is comforting to know that they are together again.
Well I will write more later when I get back....till then....

Technology Trolls

My world, I have decided, has been invaded by evil technology trolls. Let me explain.

1. My camera broke : (

2. My default camera re-broke. To take a picture you had to tape the battery shut, and then you had to use a pin to snap the picture cause the picture button fell off.

And NOW...the picture screen broke. Grrrrr. So that camera is officially kaputt.

3. So I borrowed my dad's camera, and that worked okay until it ran out of film. Guess that can be solved, but I needed to add it to my list for effect.

4. Don lost his cell phone at his parent's house. 6 of us spent two hours looking for it. We finally found it the next morning in the car. Yes, we had all looked there too. See I told you, Trolls.

5. I lost my cell phone as soon as Don found his. I cleaned my entire house looking for it yesterday, and it never showed up. And let me tell you something, Chloe DID NOT help. So I officially have given up finding it, and have decided to keep my sanity instead.
This is Chloe's idea of helping. It usually involves taking things out of the trash. By the way, these pictures were taking with my default camera before it defaulted.

Well I will try to be positive now. And tell you about the latest happenings.

My brother had a birthday. This is not my brother. This is my dad. And he would kill me if he knew I put this picture here. But I had to. We went out to eat to some Roadhouse restaurant, not the Texas kind, another kind, I just can't remember.

Then we went and saw "Wall-E." This
was our first (and last) attempt at taking Chloe to a movie. At the very end she finally fell asleep.
Chloe at a museum. I took her to this kids museum and 5 minutes before we got there another kid had an "accident" and they closed the baby section down. Convenient. If I could figure out how to add that to my technology troll list, I would.
And me. In my dad's van. He only drives it for very special occasions. Like my brothers birthday.
My dad also had a birthday July 2nd, and then there was the 4th of July. No pictures.
We went to ST. David, AZ to the in laws for the 4th. It was wonderful. I was actually a little chilled during the fireworks. I have decided Phoenix is just too hot for the 4th of July. I vote that we celebrate the 4th of July in March.
That's all folks!
P.S. If you find my phone, let me know!
