Well Don is FINALLY back from New York/Boston. He was gone for a week. He went with his Masters program and took tours of various buildings and projects going on in the cities. He had a pretty good time, but said he was glad to get back to AZ where it is not so blistering cold. And speaking of the weather, it is nearly 90 degrees here! Give me a break. That's all I have to say. The drastic change in weather however has inspired me to clean out my closets. Does anyone else out there have a terrible time getting rid of clothes even though you know that you will never wear them again? I have this emotional attachment to them and they bring back memories. And some I just have a hard time getting rid of because I think maybe I will want to wear them again, and when the style comes around again in 10 years, I will be all set! Maybe I should make a scrapbook of my clothes! Can you imagine! That thing wouldn't fit on a coffee table. So anyway, my real idea though is to take pictures of the clothes I am getting rid of, and then I can let the actual clothes go free!
While Don was away Chloe and I spent the week together getting over colds. Among my accomplishments was running a mile on the treadmill under 8:30. And since that was basically my accomplishment for the whole week, I felt the need to share it!
And now what you have all been waiting for....EASTER!!
Here is Chloe, outfit courtesy of my favorite store on the planet: TARGET. Chloe is a wearing a sunny yellow sundress, sprinkled with polka dots and adorned with white a white lace hem. On her head are delightful little bunny ears, made from the finest white polar bear fur, and pink satin from the orient. (I was trying to sound like an announcer at a fashion show in case you were wondering). Total cost of the whole outfit? 11 dollars plus tax. Did I mention I love Target?
Unfortunately she didn't really enjoy wearing the bunny ears.
An attempt at a nice family picture. Failed.
But her ears sure are cute aren't they??One final Easter story: Morning of Chloe pulled off her diaper and then proceeded to let's just say, make a mess, all over her crib. It was lovely.
And so was our Easter.
